THE EXTRACTORS WITH SCREW PARCEY and FRANCE EXTRACTEURS

RUNNING

The extraction screw (item 9) also called worm or screw Archimedes is animated by two rotational movements. The first movement is that of the screw on itself. It is caused by the extraction moto reducer (item 3) located inside the tunnel. This moto reducer drives the screw through a transmission but also by the conical gear located inside the screw support bevel gear.

The second movement is a 360 ° sweep of the silo surface by the extraction screw. This movement called "PLANETARY" movement is caused by the forces applied on the tapered torque located inside the bevel gear (generally the angle references have a multiplier ratio)

These two combined movements allow a homogenization of the product, as well as its evacuation through the exit hopper (item 8).

This technology was marketed all over the world by the company "SILOS PARCEY" from 1975 until the end of the 80's and then by FRANCE EXTRACTORS. Having proved its worth during these many years, this technology shows some disadvantages.

The operation of draining and lubricating the angle gear can only be performed when the silo is empty because the lubrication points are located under the tunnel and are not accessible from the inside thereof.

Material not conforming to current standards

Despite these disadvantages, many PLANETAIRE PARCEY extractors are still used today.

To meet all these problems INNOVREX innovated by developing a self-lubrication of bevel gears system. This system not only avoids costs (silo emptying) and hazards (intervention in confined atmosphere) that an intervention can represent.
