CONCEPT:

The extractor is equipped with a tunnel (2) in steel robust design and section " type doghouse" crossing right through the silo and resting on a support (concrete or metal) at each end.
This tunnel supports the extraction mechanism and scanning located inside, but also to avoid that it is also subject to the loads due to the product.
2 troconicals half deflectors (not shown), installed at the center on either side of the tunnel to avoid gravity flow of the product so that the extraction rate is controlled.

OPERATION:

The extraction screw (6), also called screw or auger is animated by two rotary movements:

  • The first movement, is the rotation of the screw on his own axis, he is caused by the main motoreducer (3) located inside the tunnel. This motoreducer, drives the screw, through a conical gear located in the gearbox (7).
  •  The second movement, is the rotation of the screw at 360°,of the bottom of silo, he is caused by the sweeping motoreducer (4) located inside the tunnel. This motoreducer, drives through a pinion and a slewing ring the gearbox (7).

These two combined movements enable a homogenization of the product and its discharge through an opening in the center of the bottom slab of the silo to which is connected the recovery system.
